The concepts of vulnerability and power are as questionable as they are changeable: the renegotiation of power relations is reflected here in ambivalence. This is the focus of the exhibition "Kerne knacken, Kirschen essen" by the GIFT collective from Berlin and Hamburg. The aim is to turn the inside out, as the title suggests. Power arises from making oneself vulnerable, making alone contains power. Vulnerability in power and power in vulnerability. This complex of themes unites the different approaches and practices of the five FLINTA* artists Barbara Lüdde, Louisa Frauenheim, Lisa Kaschubat, Anica Seidel and Lee Everett Thieler in the exhibition, but also beyond.
