Allistair Walter is a visual artist with a focus on painting, as well as printmaking, tattooing and sculpture. Born and raised in Berlin as the son of a tattoo artist, growing up surrounded by a flood of images, he developed a passion for drawing early on.

Being active in the local graffiti and street-art scene in his teenage years eventually led to a more serious interest in painting. Heavily influenced by mostly classical art, he grew the ambition to pick up techniques and developed an own visual language out of these rather traditional tools.

After forming an artist collective with a circle of friends and starting out to exhibit in self organized group shows in 2016, Allistair went to study painting and print making at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig (HGB) for four years and is currently finishing his studies at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee.
