Luka Naujoks

PHOTOGRAPHER | PAINTER | GERMANY

Luka Naujoks' work focuses on the idea of the collective, of multiplicities, as a response to the cult of the individual.

It comprises continuous, sometimes digitally processed photo-painting arrangements from her own archival material of everyday life, which question supposed overlaps of interactions and make possible points of contact visible.

The artist is less concerned with the general connectedness of all beings as one than with specific cuts, layers, superimpositions that are temporarily staged. Her work also includes a performative practice that influences her images.
