Esther Grüne is a contemporary Painter currently studying Fine Arts in Berlin, Germany and working in a bookstore specializing in fictional literature.

Her fields of interest are diverse and spread out throughout the spectrum of liberal arts - she sees to explore the space between figurative painting, world building and animated short films as a means to dissect and understand structures and personal themes. She takes special interest in the art of Outsider Artists and their approach to constructions of personal spheres, as well as her own approximation to the uncanny and veiled truths through multilayered narratives.

Her current artworks are predominantly figurative and vibrant, but she’s always in search for the use of new styles and approaches, experimenting with other materials, such as clay, glaze and selfmade paper in an effort to acquire new facets of expression.
